Newsletter #18

Dear friends,
It has already been a week since we’ve said “goodbye” at the Bruegel youth hostel in Brussels! How to recap what we’ve experienced together? What memories will we keep? This is what we’re working on today!

What we did together:
The first activity we did was a speed-meeting, in the late afternoon of our first day in Brussels, where we each had 2 minutes to introduce ourselves and to get to know each other and we played "storm at sea”.
The next morning, we visited the museum of European history, where we had guided tours to help us learn and understand how Europe came to be. We were split into multiple teams with French and Norwegian students. It was fun because the fact that we all spoke English allowed us to interact.
After that, we visited the European Parliament and met a European deputy called Thomas Pellerin-Carlin. Some of us did a speech in front of the deputy to explain the goal of our Erasmus+ project.
On the last day, we went to the Norway House which is in the Norwegian embassy in
Belgium. We met with a communication officer who presented us the role of Norway in the EU.
Having visited the Norway House, we were then given a question paper and we had to
team up and explore Brussels to find the answers and take pictures.
What memories will we keep?
We had an amazing time in Brussels, and here are some of the words we could use the
summarize the trip :

We hope you’ve enjoyed reading about our trip!
We have discovered new things about each other there and have lots of new ideas for next activities! Isn’t it exciting?
