Newsletter #17

Dear Norwegians and Normands,
After the trip to Rouen, we divided our work in two parts, the first half of the class did a video explaining what we did there and what we learned about the vikings, while another group were working on humour in France to answer our friends’ work from last school year! Videos will be sent soon! This is one of the silly photographs we had to take with the statue of Rollo.. This week, we take part in Erasmus+ Days celebrations thanks to an association called Crean Europe Direct. The aim of this association is to promote European citizenship and to do so, they talk about projects that the EU does in our local area on social media. Indeed, they have posted/presented our Erasmus+ project on their website and Instagram page where our teacher was testifying about what value represents Erasmus best. she had to choose between Liberty, Equality or Democracy. Can you guess? What would you have picked? Link here: https://www.instagram.com/p/DP3efDACOrp/?hl=fr In the past weeks, the older students have prepared their meeting with our penfriends and the deputy during their trip to Brussels: a speech to be presented at the European Parliament and some “ice-breakers” to get to know the new generation of students better! Meanwhile, our penfriends are on vacation but it will be our turn at the end of the week! We can’t wait to meet them/you !!!! ^^
Yours,
students of European section.
