Dear followers,

We are a new generation of students from Charles Tellier taking over the project as senior students have exams and leaving the school soon. The students’ board organised a photo shooting session at school and we have used these to prepare comments and explain young people’s styles to our Norwegian friends. Working on folk costumes was the most unusual for us, since Normand costumes are not used any more and most people consider them as old-fashioned here! But, thanks to their video presentation, we have discovered that our Norwegian friends are very proud of their regional costumes and wear them for special occasions. They're very beautiful, don’t you think?

On the left: This picture of a costume from the Rogaland region, taken in a shop in Stavanger, Norway in September 2024 shows that people can still buy it easily.

On the right: This picture of examples of Normand costumes, taken in the Museum of Normandy in Caen, in April 2025 shows that, to us, it belongs to the past!

We are so glad to be able to join the project! We have already started exchanging with new pen friends over there and they’re really cool! We can’t wait to discover more! We hope we will be able to grasp all the Common Heritage project’s findings to share them with an European deputy!

Students in Norway have started working on the next activity about humour. But, here, classes are over as our teacher has gone to assess oral exams so, unfortunately, it will only be developed next September for us!

Younger European section students, ^^
